Spectacular regional events include Bayfest and the Heritage Farm Bluegrass Festival in June, the Michicot Fest, the Oneida Pow Wow, and Trutfest in July, Shanty Days Celebraton of the Lake in August and Wet Whistle Wine Festival in September. While large enough to offer a fine selection of accommodations, cultural, and dining options, Green Bay remains small enough to enable friendly encounters with Wisconsin natives.
